Battery Replacement
Upgrading your cell phone is a great way to save money. Every charge cycle reduces the life of your battery by a percentage. Although rechargeable batteries can last a long period, their lifespan is limited. For example, iPhone batteries are good for about 600 charge cycles before performance begins to deteriorate, necessitating a battery replacement. When the device fails to charge on a regular basis, gets considerably warmer, or runs out of power quickly, it may be time to replace it. After a while, you may notice that your phone is no longer charging; what would be your first reaction in this situation? I'm guessing it's to get a new phone; let's say you like your current phone and don't want to get a new one. Don't be concerned. Red Fusion provides battery replacement services to help you extend the life of your mobile device.
The cause?
Unlike the alkaline AA batteries found in your cable remote, cell phone batteries are lithium ion. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries use the chemical lithium as its power source. Typically, these are pre-installed on cellphones. Lithium-ion batteries are a newer form of battery than alkaline batteries, and they can handle much greater voltage. This additional power, on the other hand, expands the options for combustion. Cheap manufacturing, rough handling or impacts, overheating, or an inappropriate charging method (defined by device software and accessories) can all cause a thermal runaway that ends with a bang.
The lower the battery's health percentage, the more damaged it becomes, and the more degraded your battery is, the more harmful it becomes. Lithium-ion batteries have the potential to bloat and burst, ruining your technology and sparking a fire. This is why battery replacement providers dispose of them in a very secure manner. Of course, you could change the battery yourself; however, we don't generally advise doing so. Although there are numerous manuals available, we believe it is best left to the experts due to the risks involved, as lithium-ion batteries, as previously said, may be quite harmful in the wrong hands.
Should you replace the battery?
Let’s assume that you will decide it's time to update; you no longer want your old phone and are ready for something fresh. What are your plans for the old one? You could throw it away, but doing so is bad for the environment; every day, hundreds of outdated phones and other discarded technology end up in landfills, and mining for the valuable minerals within creates even more pollution. You could sell it, but the chances of generating a good profit are slim. Furthermore, many online shops take a large part of your transaction, and with postage and packing fees, it may not be worth it. Maybe you should simply upgrade your old battery.
This is where Red Fusion can help you. We offer premium battery replacements for all brands of phones, as well as fast and reliable service. Give us a call and enjoy your new battery life span!
