IPHONE BATTERY
Many of you have had problems with your iPhone battery in the past. Whether it’s draining to fast or it just doesn’t perform the way it should be, these are all issues that are bugging all iPhone users at some point. Luckily, as with everything in life, these problems have several solutions, and Red Fusion Tech experts can easily help with that. Although the iPhone battery capacity is increasing, iOS is not becoming more energy-efficient, which may cause serious battery drainage. Let us check some of the reasons why your battery is not performing so well, and how to deal with it.
· Brightness – yes, you heard it a million times, high brightness on your iPhone screen is draining the battery much faster, so just keep the brightness as low as possible and enjoy your battery life, simple as that!
· Location services - The iPhone's location services are used by a large number of apps, and they are frequently in vain. Of course, this depletes and compromises the health of your iPhone battery. However, keep in mind that you don’t have to completely shut down these services in order for your battery to last longer. Just go to Privacy Settings and disable the applications that shouldn’t run geolocation services.
· WI FI vs 4G/5G - 4G and 5G connections utilize more battery power than Wi-Fi connections. In a low connectivity region, your device is continually hunting for a better signal, which is literally damaging your battery life. Pro tip : When the connection is weak, you can use Airplane mode to block the iPhone from transmitting signals to the carrier indefinitely. This also applies to the automatic WI FI search – just turn this automatic search off, because it is using a lot of energy, especially in places where WI FI is nowhere to be found.
How to extend the battery life?
· Enable power saving – Power saving mode, when turned on, reduces the overall iPhone performance and saves your battery during the day!
· Charging – use only certified chargers that came straight from the manufacturer and do not completely discharge your battery. Many experts recommend that you should charge your iPhone when the battery percentage is somewhere between 10 and 20%.
· No case –simply, try charging your iPhone without a case. Why? Because, the majority of cases nowadays are made of silicone or neoprene. Materials like these may cause serious overheating issues to your device, which will ultimately affect the battery life of your iPhone as well. So if you notice that your device is overheating during the charging process, simply remove the mask and continue.
Of course, over time, the capacity of your iPhone battery will begin to drop down. Modern batteries are designed to withhold around 500 cycles of charging, simply translated, they will last and serve you for around two years. You can always check your battery status and info, simply by going to Settings>Battery Health. So if your iPhone battery is pretty much used and is not performing the way it should, just come by to Red Fusion shop and we will replace your battery a new, original Apple one, so you can continue to enjoy all of your iPhone features without any troubles.
