IPHONE 13 ISSUES
Apple has officially released its new flagship smartphone iPhone 13 few months back, in September 2021. This beast of a phone has a 6.1 inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, with brightness levels up to 1200 nits which makes the HD content even more vibrant and real. Equipped with A15 Bionic processor, this phone is way ahead of its competitors, performance vise. Furthermore, the latest iOS 15 combined with the powerful hardware inside, makes this Apple flagship a smooth running device which will not disappoint. All that being said, there are still some minor issues reported in the past months that may bug some users, so let’s have a quick look at them.
· Overheating – there have been some reports of iPhone 13 overheating problems. However, comparing to the last year’s model iPhone 12 with A14 chipset, this new generation smartphone handles heat issues much better, especially while playing some of the A list games such as Call of Duty or League of Legends Rift. There may be several reasons why your 13 series iPhone is overheating, such as : using non Apple charging accessories, or using the phone while charging, iOS bugs, low quality cases or overly bright display. · Battery lifespan – we have also heard that third party, as well as first party apps may cause fast battery drainage. However, so far this hasn’t been confirmed as a major problem among users.
· Apple Watch unlock – Apple has confirmed this issue. The new iPhone 13 wasn’t able to support the feature of unlocking iPhone with Apple Watch while users were wearing a face mask. Also, Apple issued a short statement saying :” Apple has identified an issue where Unlock with Apple Watch may not work with iPhone 13 devices. You might see “Unable to communicate with Apple Watch” if you try to unlock your iPhone while wearing a face mask, or you might not be able to set up Unlock with Apple Watch”. This issue will be fixed in an upcoming iOS update.
· Apple Music – finally, users also reported that they were facing problems while trying to restore their new device from back up on Apple Music. They weren’t able to access Apple Music catalogue after backup restore. Apple responded that this issue can be resolved by simply updating the device.
