PS4 HDMI Issues
From the hardware standpoint, the thing that is most likely to break first or to show the signs of malfunction is the PS4 HDMI port. Yes, Playstation 5 is already out on the market, so you might ask yourself should you simply buy a new console, instead of repairing the old one. It is a logical assumption, however, Playstation 4 is still very relevant in the gaming community, since the new releases for PS5 are also done for PS4 as well (Last of Us 2, Assassins Creed Valahalla, etc). Furthere more, Sony is having troubles with Playstation 5 production shortage, so in 2022 additional PS 4’s will be made and distributed worldwide. Considering all of this, our recommendation would be to definitely try and fix HDMI port issues if you have them.

There are some actions you might consider in order to fix your HDMI port. Replacing the HDMI port is difficult, but it is possible if you have the necessary tools and are confident in your soldering abilities.
