As Sony announced when PS5 was released, loading speed is tremendously better than before and it can be a game changer for some users. Let’s take one of the hottest games at the moment, Assassins Creed Valhalla. Loading time on PS5 for this game, from main menu into the game is unbelievably less than a minute, while the fast travel takes less than 10 seconds. On Xbox X load into the game took more time, but the fast travel was about the same.

If PS5 is maybe winning in the loading speed performance, it is definitely losing in design sections, since a lot of users have negative comments on the overall design of this console. It is very large and space consuming, while Xbox X doesn’t have these problems. Talking about the design, Microsoft also decided to stay with almost identical controller design as Xbox One model, while new PS5 controller has a lot of changes comparing to the old Dual Shock on PS4.
